DL Sintered Srl supports its customers from the early design stages, taking care of the creation of sintered molds developed according to the most rigorous principles of powder metallurgy.

Through a consultative and collaborative approach, the company supports the customer in defining the product, designing the executive drawing, and subsequently producing the sintered part.

This co-design phase represents a crucial moment in the production process: it allows us to fully understand the customer's technical and functional needs and offer perfectly tailored solutions, ensuring consistent quality, precision, and reliability in every component.

Codesign: mold design for sintered parts

At DL Sintered Srl, the mold design process for sintered parts is based on a co-design approach, the result of close technical collaboration with the customer.
Through a series of meetings and design analyses, the company develops custom molds capable of ensuring maximum dimensional precision and repeatability of the production process.

At this stage, DL Sintered makes available all its technical know-how in the field of powder metallurgy, taking care of every detail—from the definition of the executive design to the construction of the steel mold, composed of a die and punch, fundamental elements for the production of sintered components.

The mold is created with extreme care and control, as it represents the basis of the quality and reliability of all products made for DL Sintered customers.

Mold construction for sintered parts: quality and reliability

After the initial analysis, study, and design phases, the process continues with prototyping, a crucial phase in the construction of molds for sintered parts.
This is how DL Sintered Srl creates high-precision molds for the production of mechanical parts in various metals, including aluminum, iron, stainless steel, brass, copper, and titanium.

Once construction is complete, the mold is mounted on a press, the machine that allows the metal powders to be pressed, the phase in which the components begin to take their final shape.
