What is sintered calibration?
Calibration is a phase subsequent to the sintering process and has the function of improving the physical-mechanical properties of the sintered parts, reducing their internal porosity and increasing dimensional precision.
During this operation, the sintered mechanical part is subjected to controlled compression again, in order to reduce the residual volume and obtain tighter tolerances and geometric uniformity.
Thanks to this phase, DL Sintered Srl sintered components achieve greater compactness, resistance and stability, making them ready for use in high-performance applications.
Calibratura su misura per ogni progetto
DL Sintered Srl esegue il processo di calibratura ogni volta che, in fase di progettazione condivisa con il cliente, si rende necessario conferire al particolare sinterizzato specifiche proprietà fisico-meccaniche.
