DL Sintered bushings represent one of the most advanced applications of powder metallurgy.
Thanks to the internal microporosity generated during the pressing of metal powders, it is possible to obtain self-lubricating bushings capable of ensuring smooth and silent operation, without the addition of external greases or oils.

After sintering, the bushings are subjected to an impregnation treatment with hot oil, which penetrates the microcavities of the material forming an internal lubricating film.
This process reduces friction, extends operating life and makes DL Sintered bushings ideal for high-efficiency, low-maintenance industrial applications.

With over 40 years of experience in powder metallurgy, DL Sintered Srl designs and manufactures self-lubricating bushings in bronze, steel, iron, and composite materials, developing custom components for every mechanical requirement.

DL Sintered self-lubricating sintered bushings are used in numerous industrial sectors, including automotive, automation, mechanical engineering and earthmoving, thanks to their reliability and mechanical resistance.

The high dimensional precision achieved during the sintering process allows for the production of components that can be perfectly integrated into mechanical systems, reducing friction, vibrations, and energy consumption.

Furthermore, the porous structure of the bronze, steel or sintered iron bushings ensures uniform lubricant distribution, ensuring consistent performance even under high load or poor external lubrication conditions.

Each project is developed in close collaboration with the customer, to obtain customized bushings in terms of material, shape, and physical-mechanical properties, perfectly meeting the application needs.
