DL Sintered Srl specializes in the production of sintered gears, made using the most advanced powder metallurgy techniques.
This process allows for the production of complex mechanical parts in various shapes, sizes, and materials, which can be used in numerous industrial sectors, including automotive, automation, brakes, clutches, and magnetic components.

Thanks to a consultative and co-design approach, DL Sintered supports the customer right from the design phase, studying the tooth geometry, the composition of the metal powders and the subsequent processes best suited to the required application.

This allows the production of custom sintered gears, even with internal teeth or complex profiles, capable of offering optimised technical performance.

The main advantages of sintered gears include high dimensional accuracy, good material recyclability, and reduced energy consumption during production, as no metal melting is required.

Characteristics of Sintered Gears

Smooth and polished surface finish

After the tumbling treatment, DL Sintered gears have a smooth and uniform surface, free from imperfections.
This finish reduces break-in time and improves the efficiency of the component during operation.

Reduced noise and vibration

The internal microporosity typical of the sintering process allows for the propagation of vibrations to be limited and operating noise to be significantly reduced, improving comfort and performance.

Magnetic properties

Depending on the mix of metal powders used, sintered gears can be made with soft or hard magnetic properties, characterized by low coercive force and high electrical resistance, ideal for specific technical applications.

High production repeatability

Thanks to the use of high-precision and dimensional stable molds, DL Sintered guarantees high repeatability in the series production of sintered gears, ensuring consistent quality and identical performance on every piece.
