Stainless steel filters

DL Sintered Srl designs and manufactures porous filters in different metallic materials made using the sintering process, including sintered filters in stainless steel and bronze.

Thanks to decades of experience in the production of sintered filters, DL Sintered Srl is involved in the design of filters with flexible designs and complex shapes suitable for specific assemblies and different areas of application. Like the wide range of mechanical parts made by DL Sintered Srl, sintered filters have mechanical, chemical and thermal characteristics imparted by metal processing carried out at the end of the sintering process itself, which makes them suitable for a number of fields of application such as the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, medical, aeronautical, food and nuclear sectors. The sintered filters made by DL Sintered Srl are the ideal choice precisely because they have a high resistance to tensile stress, corrosion and high temperatures. The high resistance to external agents and mechanical forces allows the sintered filters to be used for long periods of time and, in for maintenance, they can also be cleaned with solvents. They are also suitable for specific assemblies in the case of welding and machining.

Features of sintered stainless steel filters

Filtering efficiency

Depending on the powder mix used and the porosity achieved by the sintering process, a filter efficiency of between 0.02 μm and 270 μm can be achieved.

Chemical resistance

The stainless-steel filters are able to resist corrosion from a wide range of chemical agents in both liquid and gaseous form.

Thermal resistance

Sintered filters withstand high temperatures and various pressure conditions without deforming or degrading.

Mechanical resistance

Sintered filters resist shocks and impacts and behave like self-supporting mechanical parts due to their high rigidity.

High repeatability in large scale production

High-stability moulds make it possible to produce highly repeatable filters suitable for the production of large product series.
